A Cute Love Story - How We Met!

I would LOVE to tell you guys the story on how Nelida & Alan met, but I'm just going to let Nelida tell you guys how THEY met....... Enjoy!

"OUR STORY.....Alan & I met in school.. But we started talking when I was in High School.
(Ok, so, I, Martin, I'm going to get nosy, I'm guessing Nelida & Alan met when they were in middle school or Elementary... Ok, I will let Nelida continue with her story LOL ).... we were the BEST FRIENDS...to be honest, we always thought we could NEVER see each other as a couple. He (Alan) asked me to be his girlfriend waaaay back! But I just could NOT see my "BEST FRIEND" as my boyfriend!

The day I graduated (May the 20th, 2005) he told me he was going to ask me one more time, but this time it was going to be THE LAST TIME he was going to ask me. Our relationship is a strong relationship, because the most important thing in it is CONFIDENCE, & that's what it's holding our love right now, our LOVE for each other is BIG! =) The most amazing thing, Alan has done for me is to share the experience of me going to college, & allowing me to graduate from it. That way later on we could plan to be together!

The day of our wedding is going to be the MOST IMPORTANT day of our lifes! We have been waiting for this day for a looong time. Our lifes will be filled with much more love.

.........(I love how she ended her story)......& the most important thing is that we both decided to have god with us, as the center of out story, together....."

Isn't their story, a LOVELY story?.... I think it is. I am just glad I will be part of their day, this will be my first official wedding! Which I am a little bit nervous about, but I would like for you guys to pray for me, that day, and Nelida & Alan. (Nelida, Alan & I met months before their engagement session. I wanted to let them know that I've never done a wedding, I've done Quinceaneras, but no weddings, I've been a second shooter at weddings, but I've never done one of my own. So I kinda told them the cons & pros of me doing their wedding & they accepted no matter what). .....................   I am already LOVING this couple!

I hope you guys enjoyed this blog on "HOW THEY MET".  Have a great friday, and a GREAT weekend!

Nelida & Alan - Engagement Session

Yesterday I had the privilege to photo-shoot the engagement session of Nelida & Alan. They will be getting married on September the 15th. It was so much fun to do their photo-shoot. They have been dating for 7 years & a half. The photo-shoot was on Mt. Nebo.

Nelida & Alan are an interesting couple, Alan is a quite dude, but cool. I can tell they're cool & laugh a lot when they have their own little dating time.

On this photo-shoot I wanted to incorporate shadows & I wanted to use the sunset light. All I had in my mind was this sun flares, yellow's & orange's colors. We can say that I wanted to make this session a little bit different than the traditional.

We ended the session with an awesome sunset & some cool-awesome photos!!!

I just hope you guys really like it. Below are the photos, and the meaning of the balloons.

Meaning of the balloons:

7 Balloons - They have been dating for 7 years.
3 Red Balloons - Red is Nelida's favorite color.
3 Blue Balloons - Blue is Alan's favorite color.
1 White balloon - White for me it means PEACE, & I hope their marriage is full of peace & love.

Marily's Quinceañera - A Cowgirl's-Princess Day

Marily's Quinceañera was DIFFERENT than all the Quinceañera's I've done. Why? because the theme was Ranchero (Country), The Quinceaños was not at a regular reception...the event was at an arena, FOOTHILLS ARENA. Foothills Arena is located in Northwest Arkansas. It's a great place to have a country style-theme wedding/Quinceañera. Another GREAT place to have your Country styled-theme wedding is The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch, visit their page and take a look! been there, IT'S GREAT! I was happy to go out of town and do a Quinceañera. We can say it was my first OUT-OF-TOWN Quinceañera. It was great to see horses, cowboys, coygirls. I really enjoyed this Quinceañera event because it was a traditional Quinceañera BUT DIFFERENT (Fancy-wise).

In my opinion EVERYTHING was perfect. From the dress, to her nails, make up, hair, cup-cakes, the Mexican food, the arrangement and place!

Marily's mom, Fely, had a surprised for her daughter. She hired an awesome white, almost like princess like horse. The carriage was beautiful! THE DAY WAS NOW PERFECT. If you're interested on hiring the horse, visit their website! The Princess's Carriage.

I was in charge of the surprise, (the carriage) I had to keep Marily away from the surprise. The carriage was hiding behind some big tall trees, we had to walk a long way in order to show her the surprise. HER FACE WAS PRICELESS!!!

I am just glad the Garcia's hired me to capture some of those precious moments. Even though we couldn't do a photoshoot of the Charros & Marily, I still had some good shots of the whole group.

Below are some photos of the details and what was her day like!
